WOULD YOU LIKE A BLESSING?
“All were baptized into Stewart Traill. In every sense of the word: his teaching, his concepts, his view on life, his skepticism of other Christians. Go and learn what this means”.
Blessed is he and blessed is she who is able to get free from the grip of Stewart Traill and the Church of Bible Understanding, and those who are able to overcome his lies and curses will have a great reward.
Faith verses
Tuesday, April 22, 2009 While reading “Faith” verses:
(Cynthia: We were reading Eph 2 [faith vs. is vs. 8] and we read down to vs. 15]
Eph 2:13-15 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,
For indeed, he abolished that which was originally set up. That which was created for His people, to protect them, became a stumbling block to them, and therefore, He removed it, through His Son, through His Son’s blood. For it was impossible for the Law to be kept, in the weakness of the flesh, in the weakness of man. And he abolished it in order to create a new covenant, a covenant of hope, a covenant of peace, a covenant to bridge that which was abolished.
What was abolished, was mans relationship with their heavenly Father who created them. For the heavenly Father could not look upon sin, in which all men walked. For all men walked in sin, in which the Lord God could not look upon; and therefore the coming of Jesus was the bridge. And the bridge abolished the previous guidelines. For was not the Law created to join man to God?
For God gave the law in order that man could walk uprightly. God gave the Law in order that man would heed His will, that they would be sinless and therefore he could relate to them, look upon them. And indeed the Law was brought forth in order to bring God near to man and man near to God. And yet, the very Law, which was created to bring man near to God caused a way to divide them again. For man could not keep the Law that God appointed to them.
Jesus became the bridge that God could look upon Him and therefore bring men to himself. And therefore I say unto you, those who cleave to the old way deny God’s reaching out. Deny the new super highway. For why would one take the old way, if a new way is quicker, faster and easier? They would rather have many stop lights and many traffic jams. Would you take a commercial highway to visit a friend an hour and a half away? Or would you take the super highway? [DS: The super highway.] The super highway is newer, it’s faster, it’s better and yet there are those who cling to the old dirt roads, with its ruts and its stones, that get washed out in the rain, that lead to nowhere. Have you ever gone off the super highway and found yourself in nowhere? In a bad area, and out of gas and afraid to pull in to the old mans pump on the side of his barn? And yet having to do it, because you need gas to keep going.
But on the super highway there are super gas stations, with 20 pumps; but I say unto you, there are many who desire that old road, the familiar road: lashes, the penalties and purgings and wailing, but I say unto you, “THE LORD GOD CREATED A SUPER HIGHWAY IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THAT ALL THOSE WHO SAY ‘I BELIEVE IN YOU’ (Joh 6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.")
are redeemed from sin and pain and sorrow and suffering and shame and anything that would separate them from the Lord God of Hosts, is Jesus Christ, the Almighty, who I say unto you:
‘Cleave to Him who forgives sin. Cleave to Him my son, who takes all your blemishes and throws them into the depths of the sea where no one can find them and say unto the Lord God, I am a new creation, the old has passed away, the new has come! I CHOSE THE SUPER HIGHWAY! I CHOSE TO BE NEAR TO THE LORD MY GOD!
Say unto the Lord your God, now:
(Mat 6:9 Pray then like this:)
“LORD GOD!" [Dave and David =
(D&D):Lord God!]
"REDEEM ME!"
(D&D: Redeem me!)
"EVEN AS THE LORD JESUS IS REDEEMER!"
(D&D:...even as the Lord Jesus is redeemer)
"I AM YOUR REDEEMER, SAYS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! I AM YOUR REDEEMER, SAYS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!"
(D&D: I am your redeemer says the Lord Jesus Christ!)
"REDEEM ME!"
(D&D: Redeem me!)
"THAT I MIGHT BE REDEEMED!"
(D&D:...that I might be redeemed!)

(D&D: From the bottom of my feet to the top of my head!)
"THAT THOUGH I AM CLEANSED!"
(D&D: That though I am cleansed!)
"AND THAT NOW I AM CLEANSED!"
(D&D: and that now I am cleansed!)
"THAT I MIGHT HAVE JOY!"
(D&D: That I might have joy!)
"IN YOUR PRESENCE!"
(D&D: In your presence!)
"FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE LORD GOD!"
(D&D: For the acceptance of the Lord God!)
"IS A BLESSING!"
(D&D: Is a blessing!)
"THAT I DARE NOT TURN AWAY FROM!"
(D&D: That I dare not turn away from!)
"HELP ME TO CLEAVE TO IT ALL THE MORE!"
(D&D: Help me to cleave to it all the more!)
"THAT I MIGHT BE NEAR TO MY FATHER!"
(D&D: That I might be near to my father!)
"AND THAT HE MIGHT BE NEAR TO ME!"
(D&D:...and that he might be near to me!)
"FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE LAW!"
(D&D: For this is the whole law!)
DO YOU NOT SEE IT?
(Mat 6:9 Pray then like this:)
SAY:
“THANK YOU LORD GOD!" (D&D: Thank you Lord God!)
"FOR OPENING MY EYES!"(D&D: for opening my eyes)
"TO SEE!" (D&D: To see!)
"THAT WHICH I COULD NOT SEE!"(D&D: That which I could not see!)
"AND TO BEHOLD!"(D&D: and to behold!)
"THAT WHICH YOU HAVE REVEALED TO ME!" (D&D: That which you have revealed to me!)
"AND LORD GOD"(D&D: and Lord God)
"HELP ME!"(D&D: Help me!)
"TO SEE IT ALL THE MORE!"(D&D: To see it all the more!)
"AND TO ALSO OFFER IT!"(D&D: and to also offer it)
"TO THOSE WHO CANNOT SEE IT!" (D&D: to those who cannot see it)
"FOR AS I WAS" (D&D: for as I was)
"SOME STILL ARE!" (D&D: some still are)
"HELP ME TO EMBRACE YOU!"(D&D: help me to embrace you)
"THAT I MIGHT EMBRACE THEM"(D&D: that I might embrace them)
"AND THAT YOUR WITNESS WOULD BE SEEN IN ME!"(D&D: and that your witness would be seen in me!)
"TAKE AWAY THE FEAR LORD GOD!"(D&D: Take away the fear Lord God!)
"THAT I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" (D&D: That I am not good enough!)
"OR THAT I HAVE NO PART IN YOUR KINGDOM!" (D&D: or that I have no part in your kingdom!)
"BUT HELP ME TO EXPECT AND ACCEPT"(D&D: but help me to expect and accept!)
"THAT I AM YOURS!" (D&D: that I am yours)
"AND THAT YOU EMBRACE ME!" (D&D: and that you embrace me)
"AND THAT ALL OF MY SIN!" (D&D: and that all of my sin)
"AND ALL OF MY SHAME!" (D&D: and all of my shame!)
"AND ALL OF MY FEAR!" (D&D: and all of my fear)
"AND ALL OF MY PAIN!"(D&D: and all of my pain)
"HAS PASSED AWAY!" (D&D: Has passed away!)
"BECAUSE OF YOUR EMBRACE!" (D&D: because of your embrace)
"AND IT FEELS GOOD TO ME FATHER!" (D&D: and it feels good to me father!)
"THANK YOU FATHER!" (D&D: Thank you father!)
(Cynthia: Wow! We’ve been reading faith verses in Eph. Ch 2, the faith vs. is vs. 8, but we read down to vs. 15 about Jesus becoming our peace, we who were far off being brought near in the blood of Christ, him becoming our peace, braking down the dividing wall of hostility and abolishing in his flesh the commandments and ordinances.)
And it is in this power that your ministry is recognized. It is the power of God in you, that makes you recognizable, as a Saint. He who has the Spirit of God is he who walks with God. And he who walks with God, is he who hears from God and speaks to God. Fear the Lord, Oh you His Saints, for he who is a Saint, is he who is a workman. He who is shod with the gifts of God and walks with God and therefore has gifts bestowed upon him by God. For without the gift of the Spirit, how would it be evident that you have the Spirit?
(Dave: Right)
He who has the Spirit of God is able to walk in a way in which God desires him to walk: with a freedom, with peace, with purpose, with wisdom, who is able to listen and speak without fear. Who is able to walk in faith, FOR FAITH, IN FAITH, BY FAITH, OF FAITH.
WITH OUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, AND THEREFORE FAITH MUST ABOUND. AND THIS IS WHY I COUNSELED YOU TO STUDY FAITH. FOR HOW CAN ONE DISPENSE PEACE WITHOUT FAITH? HOW CAN ONE DO ANYTHING IN THE SPIRIT WITHOUT FAITH? FAITH ~ IS ~ THE MEANS ~ BY WHICH ~ ALL ~ POWER FLOWS.
FOR HE WHO PUTS FORTH HIS HAND AND SAYS, ‘LET THIS HAPPEN’ MUST HAVE FAITH THAT IT CAN HAPPEN. OR HOW WAS IT THAT THE APOSTLES PUT FORTH THEIR HAND AND SAID, “BE HEALED” IF THEY DID NOT HAVE FAITH THAT THE HEALING WOULD GO FORTH? AND THEREFORE IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU BEGIN TO PRAY IN FAITH, FOR FAITH, THAT FAITH MIGHT BE BESTOWED IN A MUCH MORE… IN AN INNUMERABLE AMOUNT.
FOR HOW CAN YOU PRAY FOR ANYONE MY SON, IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN FAITH GOING FORTH?
PRAY IN FAITH, FOR THINGS THAT YOU NEED. DO YOU NOT HAVE NEED? (Dave: Yes, I have need.) AND SO I SAY UNTO YOU, BRING THEM TO ME, (Dave: Yes father) ON A DAILY BASIS (D&D: Yes father)
Do not look upon spilled milk, but take up your cross and challenge yourself to do more than to stay in your rut. Every one has them, but I challenge you all: Let the Israel of God dwell in you and learn to realize the power of faith.
That the power of faith might be in you and might come forth through you.
Do not be indifferent to that which is a blessing, but I say unto you my children, embrace faith, for it is by faith that all good comes.
IT IS BY FAITH that you speak to me and that I speak to you.
IT IS BY FAITH that you rise up out of your rut, whatever that rut might be.
IT IS BY FAITH that you walk into circumstances in which you never had faith to do before.
IT IS BY FAITH that you are able to take on challenges that you never considered you would be able to take on before.
IT IS BY FAITH that you accepted the challenge of God and the gift of pouring oil upon those who are troubled: emotionally, physically, spiritually. And
IT IS BY FAITH that these blessings go forth.
But how can a blessing go forth, if you are not in a position to let the blessing be experienced?
How can a blessing go forth upon your wounded COBU brethren if you never see any?(Dave: That’s right)
By whatever means, my son, you have been gifted. And you have an ability to ask me to allow that gift to be used. You have the ability to say,
‘Lord God I desire to use this gift that you gave me to oil those who need oiling, but I never see them and they never see me. And they are too afraid to call me and I have been counseled not to seek them out. And this is a quandary’
(we all laughed) but I say unto you my son, do not fear to say unto me, “Lord God, make a way’ for the Lord God is a bridge maker.
(Dave: Lord God, make a way, that your gift of oiling be experienced ..Cynthia: By those who need it .. Dave: by those who need it, who are drowning and swimming in pain and misery. For Lord God, I have faith Lord God, and I trust in you Lord God, that indeed you will make a way Lord God. But there seems to be no window or door or access point. Increase my faith and I pray Lord God that your gifts may be dispensed forth.)
==================================================================================================================
(Cynthia: The above prophesy came after we read Ephesians 3:1-7.
Eph 3:7 Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace which was given me by the working of his power.
and I just noticed the verse that we hadn’t read yet, which the Lord also addressed, Eph 3:8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints,
.. we hadn’t even read that, and God was speaking to us and using the word, “saints”.
==================================================================================================================
For indeed, without faith how can you have boldness of spirit? For it is faith that gives you boldness and confidence of spirit. For indeed, would not a man be foolish to proclaim faith or belief or hope in something that does not exist? But I say to you, the Lord God is alive and you see him in your life, do you not? (David: Yes)
And when you see the Lord God, then the Lord God is real to you and if he is real to you, then you can speak about him with confidence and this is a gift of faith.
The confidence which you have in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, that gives you hope, that you also might rise again in the Lord’s kingdom, by promise. It is faith, my children, that grants you the confidence that you have in the Lord Jesus Christ.
For to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, without faith, is to just believe by concession. But it is not by concession that you believe, it is through experience. For you have experienced the Lord Jesus Christ touching your life, everyday. You see the effect of the Lord Jesus Christ in your life. You see how time, and time again, the Lord God has delivered you and that he will deliver you again.
When he lifts you up out of despair and grants you peace, confidence, hope: Cheer in the midst of distress! Hope in the midst of hopelessness! For the saving power of God is alive and active in your life.
But how could you believe without faith? Let the Lord Christ reveal to you faith innumerable, immeasurable, manifold, multiple. Let him increase your confidence and your boldness. For is it not a bold thing to pray for healing? Is it not a bold thing to believe that healing is going forth?
And I say to you all the more my son, seek the Lord. Let the Lord become your hope. Become intimate with Lord over your day. Rise up in the morning and seek the Lord and say, ‘Lord God, show me what to do today, lead me, help me to hear your voice. Help me to be comforted by your spirit. Grant me all that I need to walk in this world without fear.’ For the Lord God can do this. And when you have fear, bring your fear to the Lord, every fear my son. That you might become more and more confident through our faith in him.
Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
For this is the only way that the Lord Jesus can live in you, by your faith in him. When the Lord speaks and the Lord shows you that he is with you, this is how you are strengthened.
The inner man, my children, is the man that controls you. For once you were in the flesh without self-control and you had little control over mood swings, irritability, anger and a great host of negative behaviors. And yet the Lord your God can make you into the man that he calls you to be, which was in conflict with that other man. For every man has the flesh and every man has the spirit, but not every man has the power to chose the spirit over the flesh ~ this is through the Lord God and faith in the Lord Jesus. [After reading Eph 3:17 a ‘faith’ verse.
Eph 3:17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
[After reading down to Eph 3:19 ‘and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge]
For indeed, the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and the Lord Jesus Christ loves all man, it is valuable, my children, that you know the Lord’s love for you.
It is through faith that you trust and accept that the Lord God loves you, that the Lord Jesus loves you. For when you have the love of Christ controlling you, then you have access to the spirit and access to the gifts of the spirit, which cause you to be able to conduct yourself in a way that is healing to your soul. For is it not healing to any soul to trust that they are loved? For the soul that does not feel love seeks it in many ways that can cause hurt.
(Cynthia: Wow, that was a powerful thing.)
[After reading down to Philippians 1:8]
And indeed my children, in that day, at the Reunion (2007), it was the Spirit of God who gave you boldness. Boldness and faith, to do what none of them had faith to do. And they counted it against you, although you were being faithful to that which you were called to do. And you have never put a stumbling block in any ones way to do anything that they would do.
And yet here they are desiring to put a stumbling block in your way and this is why the prophesy that you put on the Web site on the first day of this year, (1st Prophesy the Lord asked us to Post on XCobu sites - January 1, 2009) still hounds them. Why? Because they were convicted and the conviction has not been released. The conviction has not released them, for they were all convicted. For when you read and the word convicts you, you either seek the Lord or the conviction remains, for nothing goes forth empty.
And it was the spirit my daughter, that gave you power, in the midst of the anti-spirit in that place. It was the spirit of God in you, that gave you the grace to be able to embrace those you knew that underneath their smiles, they were cursing you and what you were doing. For when the love of Christ controls you, you are able to stand above the flesh. For the flesh my children, would want to argue, but indeed, my daughter, you overlooked the offensive spirit and you embraced them, as the Lord God embraces them and loves them, in spite of everything.
For the Lord God is above these things. For he does not look at the immediate, but looks at the final. For the Lords desire is that they all be saved. Without love my children, it is impossible to be a blessing. For you looked on them with love and you embraced them with love.
He who walks in the spirit is able to walk in the midst and love all the more.
[CS: We had read Phil. 1 up to vs. 8 For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.]
Phil 1:27 … I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit…]
Iron fist?! = Stand firm! And this is a good thing, to be accused of, is it not?
(Dave: Yeah CS: The Lord was referring to an accusation that a brother made of Dave, 'that he ruled Living Water with an iron fist' and God was actually complementing it.)
Col 1:7,8...as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf and has made known to us your love in the Spirit.
And is not the scripture an example? Is not the scripture an example my children? (Dave: Yes) It teaches you. And so I am saying to you, notice with what eloquence they speak of one another. And this is a good example my children. For no one can find fault with someone who always speaks highly of someone else. [Jas 4:11]
(Cynthia: Many times the Lord uses an experience to teach us as he does here.)
Did it not wound the sister to hear the pastor, the way he spoke in front of the great body, when he spoke things that could cause question about her dearly departed and beloved mother? (Dave: It makes people start to question about her mom.)
And therefore I say, this is why I counseled you my son, to be quick to hear and slow to speak. (Jas 1:19) And this is why I had written in the Word that people will be judged by every careless word they utter. (Mat 12:36)
For he was not thinking of the body, or of her children, or of her grandchildren, or of her husband, or of her siblings, or of people who were there to support the family ~ he was thinking of himself, or trying to justify himself, or clear himself and in so doing, caused question and doubt in the hearts and minds of people who had no idea of what he was speaking about and he had no right to do it.
[April 23, 2009 a sister called and told me about her mothers memorial service]
And my daughter, as you were reading these scriptures and hearing about the way Paul spoke about the people with whom he served, many times you thought to yourself, how it was sad that some did not speak positively to others of all the years that you lifted them up, but instead chose to speak sullied words, but I say to you, notice here, all have the flesh, and yet it is better to speak from the spirit than to speak from the flesh. For to speak from the flesh, will always cause harm, whether what you say is true or not. [Col ch 1 down to vs. 8]
2Th 1:3 We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.
And indeed my children, note, how as faith abounds, so does love. And where love abounds, so is faith. And he recognizes how their love for one another abounds. And this was what you insisted upon with your group. That you would have love for one another and care for one another.
And yet, was it not evident that when some withdrew from you, that the mudslinging began? (Dave: Yes)
So you could also say, that they lost faith and that they also lost love. For their love for you diminished, if they ever had it.
For I will say to you this my son, learn from this, that those whose only interest is to receive blessing and even have a difficulty at doing that, they are those who have a small amount of love and a small amount of faith. For though they would always complain that they weren’t given this or they weren’t given that, indeed, the things that were asked of them, they had no interest in. (Dave: Yep) After reading: 2 Th 1:3
1Ti 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
And this my children, note, 'without anger or quarreling', how is it that he, could be angry, so angry that he nearly rolled over Tod’s feet! And he was going to a prayer meeting! The scripture counsels: before you go and give alms, to make peace with your brother (Mt 5:24). And there you stood before him and he did not have peace in his heart toward you and had no intentions of coming to peace or even discussing anything. And so I say to you, these lists that they communicate on are filled with quarrelling, are they not? (Dave: Indeed they are.) And indeed my children, they do as they learned to do.
How do you teach peace of a nation of quarrelers. How do you teach peace to a nation that live by their anger and it is their anger that fuels them and motivates them?
A Christian should be motivated by the spirit of Christ, for the love of God controls me. (2Co 5:14)
And therefore they are operating in the flesh and for the flesh and saying that it is for God, when actually, many of their discussions have nothing to do with the Lord God, but about opinions (I Ki 18:21, Rom 14:1) and this is another thing that they learned in their youth. For the Lord God is not about opinions.
[CS: We read down to 1 Ti 2:8]
2Ti 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not in virtue of our works but in virtue of his own purpose and the grace which he gave us in Christ Jesus ages ago,
This is why no one can say: ‘This is what you should do’ and ‘this is what I am doing’ for indeed, as you said to your brother: “If the Lord is leading you to do something, I wish you well. Go in peace and do it with all your might.” This is right and this is true, for the scripture says, that it is in virtue of the Lords Gods own purpose. In virtue of the purpose to which God has called each one.
And those who hear his voice are able to do his purpose. So if one can hear his voice and he is convinced that the will of God is in his hand, he should do it with peace and not with a trumpet.
And therefore, also, no one has the right to accuse that someone else is not doing what is right, for this is judgment and the Lord did not call men to be judges, but he called men to be servants of one another. Would that he served you, as you served him. Would that he lifted you, as you lifted him. Would that he opened his ear to you, as you opened your ear to him. Would that he could follow in your example. Would that he knew you.
[CS: We read 2 Ti down to verse 9]
2Ti 2:7 Think over what I say, for the Lord will grant you understanding in everything.
And how is understanding granted, but by those who ask. So he who seeks understanding, is he who receives understanding.
Therefore if you do not understand, say, "Lord God, I do not understand", henceforth, my son, when the Lord God gifted you and then your brother put a stumbling block before everyone who would have come to you, why did not you ask me, 'Lord God, I do not understand’? So I say unto you, he who asks, receives, for understanding and wisdom are given without limit, to he who asks. Ask therefore, that you might receive. (Jas 1:5, Mt 21:22, Jn 16:24, 1 Jn 3:22)
And you my little son, have you not asked the Lord for understanding? And ask again, and ask again. When you do not understand, say, ‘Lord God, I do not understand, increase my knowledge, increase my understanding, but above all, increase my love.’ For love covers a multitude of sins (1 Pe 4:8) and he who loves is born of God and knows God (1 Jn 4:7).
And it is clear how faith and love go hand in hand. For he who loves God, has faith in God that God is with him and that God will give more and more.
(CS: That’s after reading 2 Ti 2:1-7 for the Lord will grant you understanding in everything.)
2Ti 2:12,13 if we endure, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful--for he cannot deny himself.
And I say to you my children, what is this? What is this ‘witnessing’ that they do, when they do not know me? What is it? For they accuse you my son, that you do not go out and traverse the world. For I did not send you out to traverse the world, but I said, ‘Sit at my feet’.(Jn 5:30) For cannot I say to this one, do this, and this one, do that?
Is it not plain in the Word that the Lord God says to one, do this?(1 Jn 2:27) And to another, do that? But I say to you, what is this, where they say that they are spreading the gospel, when they do not know me? What are they spreading? (Dave: They’re spreading pain and falsehood) They spread whatever is in their hand. For one it is this and for another it is that. But who are they to say, ‘Why are you doing this?’ and ‘Why are you doing that?’ (CS: We read 2 Ti 2:1-13)
Tit 3:1,2 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for any honest work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all men.
And I will say to you, for indeed, he who is looking for a cause, or he who is seeking to be estranged, will seek pretext on any issue that presents itself (Pro 18:1;Is 1:4) or will create an issue if one does not present itself (Rom 16:17). For anyone who seeks to be estranged will find a reason to be estranged. (CS: While reading Ti 3:1,2)
Phm 1:7 For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.
And I say unto you, he who speaks upon his heart and upon the love therein, he who speaks of love, has love within. For from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Mt 12:34).
And note then how they speak, is there love in their hearts or is it all back slashing and condemning? (1 Jn 2:6) For he who condemns is he who condemns himself. For what you do to the least of these, even if you do it to yourself, you do also to me, (Mt 25:40) it still applies.
(CS: That was after reading Philemon 1:1-7)
Heb 10:8 When he said above, "Thou hast neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law),
Heb 10:9 then he added, "Lo, I have come to do thy will." He abolishes the first in order to establish the second.
Heb 10:10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
And this I say to you, ‘The new has come, that the old can be left behind’ but what of those who do not desire to leave behind, that which is no longer necessary, that which is no longer necessary for salvation? For at one time my children, it was necessary, so that the genuineness of ones heart might be established by their giving up that which took up a high rank in their heart.
For would it not take a high rank in someone’s heart, that which was most valuable to them? For it was trade. To have many cattle and many sheep meant one was rich, this was their coin. This was their value. This was what was valuable to them. For the animals, could make more animals, or it could make a feast, or it could be traded as a dowry, to offer ones daughter in marriage. So everyone was concerned about their cattle. So offerings were asked in order to see if their hearts were with me.
For it was a sacrifice, to sacrifice a cattle or a sheep, without blemish. For to sacrifice a sheep without blemish, meant that they could not use that sheep any longer to produce more unblemished sheep. Gone was the opportunity to increase ones wealth, in that particular sacrifice. But the age was coming when animals no longer meant wealth, and therefore I had to teach a new way of serving. A new way to receive.
And it is difficult to open my children’s ear to any new way, for they get it into their minds that this is the only way, as do your brethren. For they were raised to debate the scriptures. Not that the debating of scriptures brought them peace. Is it not difficult to change ones direction, to have a new way? And in your prayer you say, ‘Open my ear to a different way, a way to obtain peace as I haven’t before, that I take a new teaching to heart’ I am saying that when the Lord Jesus Christ came, so came a new teaching and yet it was so difficult to take on a new teaching, that they still wanted to observe circumcision in the Gentile’s.
(CS: That was after reading Heb 10:1-8)
Heb 10:11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
And see, they continued in the habbit for indeed, they did not do the new. They did not buy into the new, but indeed, they accepted the old, ‘as Abraham did, so will I do’(Jn 8:33,37,39, Mt 3:9, Is 28:10-13) even though it became a ritual and they did not even know the purpose of it. That the purpose of the ritual was to show the intentions of the heart.(Heb 4:12)
So they continued to do the offering and received nothing for it, no blessing. For at least those who had done it in the beginning, knew for which it was being done. They knew, that it was a demonstration of the love one had for the God of heaven, and the God of the earth. That it was a demonstration, an act of obedience to the Lord their God and to show what they valued. For once the meaning of a sacrifice is forgotten, how can the sacrifice have any meaning? And when something looses meaning, what is the point in doing it?
For indeed, there was much meaning my children, in going witnessing, when you first came to know the Lord, to share. For there was much growth in the sharing of the Word, with those on the street, and there was much growth in it. But when it became an issue of pride, instead of an issue of loving God, where is the blessing?
(Dave: There isn’t one) For what is the blessing in winning an argument if you burn off the heart, soul, and mind of your hearer? (Heb 4:2 For good news came to us just as to them; but the message which they heard did not benefit them, because it did not meet with faith in the hearers.(1 Co 14:16) (CS: That was after reading up to Hebrews 10:11)
Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
For indeed, he who holds fast the confession of hope, is he who receives hope and is nourished by it. For indeed, the intentions of the heart are made clear, when you see what a man hopes in and what his hope is. For the scripture clearly states: How can you love God whom you cannot see, if you cannot love your brother who you do see (1 Jn 4:20)
When he was unwilling to even speak to you my brother, was he not thinking clear that he wants nothing to do with you? So then, why would he say, ‘I’m not angry with him?' How can he shout at you and yet say, ‘I am not angry with you’? How can he not have two minutes to spare for you, who gave him 20 years of faithful service? Listening not only to his needs, but also to the needs of his family and the needs of his friends. For you continually opened your heart and your ear for those who never opened their heart or their ear. This is why, ‘out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks'. For those who are estranged in heart, seeks pretext. And they were seeking pretext long before the split was actually activated or enforced.
For indeed, would I put it into your wifes heart to write, that these were things that previously were hinted at, they were not only hinted at, but they were going off with loud gongs? For when someone says to you: ‘Do not call me’ ‘Do not write me’ ‘Do not seek me’ – is that not a gong? And many times did they do this unprevoked? Unprevoked!? He and she who forgive an offense, over and over and over again, seek love;(Pro 17:9) he who continues in a matter, alienates the bond, alienates the trust, alienates the relationships, alienates a friend.
And some do this daily in their marriages, many times with no remorse and it grieves the marriage grately, yet they constantly expect free passes. How do you deal with this wild, willful spirit? For this, is as my son said, can only be healed through prayer [Mk 9:29].
When something is so set upon ones person, that they have no ability to transform from it, no matter how many words are read into their ears that make sense to them at the time, yet they go back to the same behavior over and over again. He who is overcome, is he who walks in a way that’s not right and has no power to alter this course. Some do things that are unconscionable, things that the unsaved would never think to do or say.
And to these you must say, ‘Lord God convict them’ for they know not what they do. Would that they had two sticks to strike together within their minds, then perhaps the spark might occur; but they have become dull through sin. So that it does not even occur to them, that to not love one another is wrong. And this is a difficult thing, that someone who is stating that they know Christ, well enough to witness to others of the blessing of salvation, is unable to extend any blessing, comfort, kindness or peace to those in their own home. Ministry starts at home. Some are a bad example of redemption. How can one pray for someone else when his own home is in shambles? Mat 23:26 You blind Pharisee! first cleanse the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean.
(CS:We had read down to Hebrews 10:22 though this verse doesn’t seem to match what the Lord spoke, later in the chapter is more with regard to: ”if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth” Heb 10:26; which seems to reflect what he was speaking about and we've also seen in the past that the Lord will speak on 'what comes next' before we've arrived at it.)
Heb 13:7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith.
Would that they would have immitated your faith, the very thing that you asked them to do. And yet, how could they immitate that which they always rejected? For though they said they were with you, secretly they were not. (CS: We had read Hebrews chapters 12 and 13 and got down to vs. 7)
Peace to you my children, for the Lord your God is peace.
For you had not wronged them in any manner. Must I now restore what I did not steal? (Ps 69:4) Would that they could keep their own counsel. Would that they would seek my face. Would that they would see themselves truly for what they have become. For indeed they are very busy. Make no mistake, they are very busy. And so I say my children, increase your commitment to seek me. Make it your chief priorety I say. For an hour is not much, considering the amount of time that you have. I will press my case, until you have met my case, says the Lord, who loves you, who embraces you, who smiles upon you. (CS: Today is Sunday, May 3, 2009]
Num 20:7 and the LORD said to Moses,
Num 20:8 "Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water; so you shall bring water out of the rock for them; so you shall give drink to the congregation and their cattle."
Num 20:11 And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his rod twice; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their cattle.

And my son, notice how people pressed him and yet he did not listen to my counsel. In this case he did not do, what I showed him to do.
And who was the rock? (CS: Jesus?) Indeed. He was commanded to: ‘talk to the rock, in front of the people’. I had you go to the Reunion, (2007) to talk to the people. It is critical my children, that you do what the Lord your God shows you to do. I say my children, when the Lord your God said, ‘My son, go down to the Reunion and speak to this people’ and you spoke to this people, in peace.
Moses had become frustrated with them, for he had reason to. For they press upon you, rightly or wrongly, they press, but the Lord will make you ready. The Lord will make you ready my children. This is why my daughter, this is why my children, that I said that you must increase your commitment toward the hour and what does that mean, for you? (David: Putting down everything else and doing the hour what he’s told us to do.) Indeed my young son, it is a good answer. But that you count what the Lord has shown you, that you look forward to it and that you give more because it is the Lord, that you put it above everything else. It is training for you, to make every thought captive to obey God and his Christ.
(2 Co 10:5)
Was it obedient my children, when he struck the rock, not once but twice!(CS: No) Why did he strike me? (CS: I think it was fear. David: He tried to take his frustration out on…) Indeed! He had become frustrated. It is wearisome my children, in working with rebels and malcontents (Jude 1:16) , and complainers (Jer 2:29) , and doubters (Jude 1:22,23) , and scoffers (Pr 1:22, 29:8, 2 Pe 3:3, Jud 1:18). It is not fun. It is training, as you will see and indeed you will see it and you will want to run away from it. For they are wretched (Rev 3:17) and miserable creatures. You spoke about misery (Rom 3:16) my son, the marriages, indeed you only have a glimpse of how horrid they are.
Be quick to hear the Lord and be quick to act, when you know it is the Lord. I said, ‘Do not be pushed by the wind’ in the Gospel of Peace, he (Moses) was pushed by the wind and this act caused him not to go into the promised land. Do not strike the rock, the rock is Christ. The Lord loves you my children. He will make you stand. I will fullfill my cause in you my children, do not fear. (CS: That was after reading Numbers 20:1-11)
WOULD YOU LIKE A BLESSING?
